OBD X-Drive Dongle

Deactivation of the BMW X-Drive system at the touch of a button.

Only compatible with our latest generation data display system. The X-Drive dongle must be plugged into the OBD port.

This solution is only recommended for motorsport purposes when it is necessary to be able to quickly deactivate X-Drive.

How does it work? The vehicle always starts with all-wheel drive engaged. Pressing the cruise control rocker switch on the steering wheel downwards for 2 seconds deactivates the all-wheel drive. A message will then appear in the instrument cluster indicating that the all-wheel drive is inactive. This message can be acknowledged.

If you want to permanently disable X-Drive without any notification, the X-Delete app is the better choice. Our solution is not compatible with X-Delete and must be removed from the vehicle to function correctly.
