The X-Drive dongle must be plugged into the OBD port.<\/p>\n<p>This solution is only recommended for motorsport purposes when it is necessary to be able to quickly deactivate X-Drive.<\/p>\n<p>How does it work? The vehicle always starts with all-wheel drive engaged. Pressing the cruise control rocker switch on the steering wheel downwards for 2 seconds deactivates the all-wheel drive. A message will then appear in the instrument cluster indicating that the all-wheel drive is inactive. This message can be acknowledged.<\/p>\n<p>If you want to permanently disable X-Drive without any notification, the X-Delete app is the better choice.
